Enrolment process

  • If Learning Kids Montessori Lithgow is the right place for your child, We welcome you to registered form (hyperlink to OWNA aap).
  • Families can submit early application of their child but to attend the service the child must turned 2 years as according to our Centre philosophy.
  • You will need the following documents to complete the OWNA application form.
  • When we receive your completed application, we’ll review it, and get back to you with a confirmation of receipt or call to clarify any questions we have.

Attend Tour

We suggested you set up a time to meet with us because of COVID-19, and we will take you to classrooms and outdoor areas to introduce you to the Montessori approach to education. Our Nominated Supervisor or responsible person will show how Montessori education is different and unique in the Lithgow area. You can bring your child with you to get familiar with the new environment and educators and recognise how learning occurring in the classroo.

Orientation

Our Orientation allow you and your child to get settle in Learning kids Montessori environment. We know all children are different, therefore, some children adjust to the new routine very easily & others take a little longer. Our Montessori educators will come up with a schedule of orientation that suits your child best which helps your child to settle. We provide 30 minutes orientation time which needs to be booked with the Nominated Supervisor. In orientation, you stay with your child to explore the Centre environment and Montessori resources. Our educators are very friendly, which tell you the routine of classrooms, interact with your child for a smooth transition and answers your question throughout the orientation period.

How we communicate

We Document our education program and children's learning to share with families through a variety of platform including OWNA Programming portal, OWNA daily reflection, OWNA Child portfolios, children work displays on the classroom wall, and email communication.

Our educators communicate with parents about the child's day, activities and general developmental progress through conversation and observation. We also share our ideas and child development progress through Parent Teacher Interviews, reports, online documentation, newsletters, and annual Parent Information Evenings.
